Scott & Janet Ogan - Your hosts

Captain Scott and Janet are authentic, life time Alaskan’s. Scott personally designed and built the beautiful beachfront timber frame cabin and treehouse at Treehouse Cove Lodge to give their guests unique luxury and comfort while experiencing a real taste of the Alaskan wilderness. Captain Scott also designed, and helped build, his new one-of-a-kind 28’ aluminum landing craft.

Scott has 35 years experience on Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay waters. He’s a USCG Licensed 25 Ton Master. A retired Natural Resource Manager, a pilot, a cabinet maker, boat builder, and served in Alaska’s State House and Senate.

They love to share their authentic Alaskan experiences and are great home-style cooks, and warm and engaging hosts. They hold the bar high for comfort & service and you will be in competent hands with them and their staff.

We specialize in a very small, intimate private experience, hosting only 4-6 clients at a time. Our premium all inclusive experience starts with a private water taxi from Homer and continues with authentic Alaskan hospitality throughout your stay. We offer an exclusive, private experience for a low camp buy out threshold of four people. This is the best valued, most unique private lodge experience in Alaska!
