Because we are a semi remote wilderness lodge, we use compost toilets in the Beach House and Treehouse, but encourage guests to use our fresh pouthouse when possible. There are NO Flush Toilets on the property! If you are not comfortable with this, we recommend you book with our much higher priced Kachemak Bay competitors.
Access to the property is via skiff or landing craft, which requires getting in and out of the boat on a beach with sometimes extreme tides and possibly inclement weather. Failure to disclose in advance, physical handicaps, or medical conditions that may make it difficult for you to stay with us, is done so at your own risk.. We reserve the right to deny your stay, with no refund, if we reasonably determine your physical condition may be detrimental to your health, or is beyond our comfort level to accommodate safely. Note, we are very inclusive and accommodating, please just let us know how we can ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time. .
Access to the treehouse requires climbing a slight uneven grade to the treehouse.
Please disclose any and all physical limitations and medical conditions we should be aware of.. For example, diabetics, heart, bowel, blood pressure, cancer, physical handicaps, etc. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, such as gluten intolerance, diabetic diets, vegan or vegetarian. We can accommodate just about anything, but we need advance notice, because we can’t just run to the store to get a special need item.
No refunds for inclement weather will be allowed.
