Excursions & adventure options are included with a premium all-inclusive package. Note: We are licensed for only 6 passengers at a time on our boat.
Offshore Halibut & salmon fishing
Premium packages include a trip with Captain Scott in our brand new 28’ Landing Craft, to fish for Halibut & Salmon, rockfish, and Ling Cod (in season) in Kachemak Bay, Cook Inlet, and the Gulf of Alaska. There is a fuel surcharge for Gulf fishing.

We have hired one of lower Cook Inlet’s best halibut guides, Tom White.
We fish on a 28’ aluminum landing craft set up especially for fishing offshore in Cook Inlet and the Gulf of Alaska.
For non-premium guests, a fuel surcharge of $1,600 is incurred for offshore fishing.
Whale watching
Premium packages include scouting for Orca and Humpback whales as they dance around you from our 28 foot landing craft. Keep an eye out for sea lions too!
Marine adventures
All guests will enjoy the views of the beautiful Alaskan mountainside or fjords from the water. Premium packages include a private water taxi from Homer and an epic tour of the South Shore of Kachemak Bay and beyond.
UTV Exploration
Your private lodge experience includes exploring Seldovia on our six-seater UTV or our Toyota 4Runner, on over 10 miles of road to Jakalof Bay and Macdonald Spit with stunning views along the way. See salmon spawning in a river, (seasonal)
Optiona: Remote Native villages
Explore a remote Native Alaskan village and learn about their history and culture. Or kayak in a remote bay if you are not a fisher..
historical tour
All guests can embark on a historical tour of the town of Seldovia, known as one of the most beautiful towns in the world. You can take the tour on land, or the sea.
kayaking
Kayak through Seldovia Bay and take in the Alaskan wilderness in perfect serenity, or paddle up Seldovia River (packed with pink Salmon) where the rainforest meets the ocean. Remote kayaking whale watching excursions are available.
Wildlife viewing
Visit streams rich in Salmon, observe bears in their natural habitat, and watch eagles soar through the sky. Observe eagles rearing their young, and keep an eye pealed for eagles diving in the water to catch fish, then swim to shore with their wings. Get up close and personal with our local sea otters.
Hiking
Hike the Otterban trail from Inside Beach to stunning Outside Beach before a picnic lunch on the beach and a UTV tour to the Campground Overlook. For the more adventurous, moderate and extreme hiking is available.
fly fishing
Fly fish for pink salmon in beautiful Seldovia River. Fly fishers must bring their own gear.
Pinks start showing up around July 1.
nearshore fishing
Fish for Salmon or Halibut or rockfish, nearshore with the picturesque landscape in the background. Offshore fishing is included in premium packages
