What's New at Treehouse Cove Lodge This Season

As Treehouse Cove Lodge prepares for a new season in Kachemak Bay, several updates have been made to further enhance the guest experience. Each season brings small refinements, but this year includes a meaningful addition designed to improve both comfort and convenience for guests staying in the treehouse.

A New Cookhouse Dining Cabin

The lodge has completed a new cookhouse dining cabin.

This space is designed not only as a place to gather and enjoy meals, but also as a central hub that supports the overall experience at the lodge.

Enhanced Comfort with a New Bathroom and Shower

One of the most notable additions is a new bathroom within the cookhouse, featuring:

• A shower
• A flush toilet
• Additional space for guest use

This is a meaningful upgrade, particularly for guests staying in the treehouse.

While the beach house already includes a shower and both cabins have compost toilets, this addition introduces a higher level of comfort and flexibility for all guests.

Designed for a Private, Shared Experience

Treehouse Cove Lodge continues to operate as a fully private lodge experience in Kachemak Bay, hosting only one guest group at a time.

Because of this:

• The new bathroom and shower are available to all guests
• There is no crowding or competition for shared spaces
• The experience remains quiet, personal, and relaxed

This balance of privacy and shared access is a key part of what makes the lodge unique.

Continuing to Refine the Experience

Rather than expanding into a larger operation, the focus at Treehouse Cove Lodge remains on refining the experience:

• Improving comfort without losing the natural setting
• Enhancing amenities while maintaining simplicity
• Keeping the experience personal and intentional

These updates reflect a commitment to making each stay better, while preserving what makes the lodge special.

What This Means for Your Stay

For guests planning a visit this season, these updates mean:

• Greater comfort, especially for treehouse guests
• More flexibility during your stay
• An even more seamless experience overall
