There is no excitement better than when the marlin finally hits, and your reel is screaming mercy. these are truly a majestic animal.

Dorado (Mahi) These are beautiful fish, great fighters, and excellent table fare. You can keep your edible fish in Costa Rica, (not like Hawaii, where you have to beg for a slab of meat for dinner!)

Rooster Fish, Yellow Fin, Jacks.

The fish are big in Costa Rica, and you know it when big Rooster or Yellow Fin Tuna gets on. The Tuna bites are the best, as the water boils with bait, tuna are jumping everywhere, and you sight cast a lure in for the hook up! It’s recommended you train in the gym before yo come down to fish. You will need it!
